Amy Lysle Smart or simply Amy Smart first broke through the acting scene
when she played supporting roles in hit teen films Varsity Blues and
Outside Providence in 1999. Because of her carefree attitude and
California girl good looks, Smart made her feature debut in the movie,
The Last Time I Committed Suicide, with Keanu Reeves in 1997.
She was also seen in Starship Troopers, How to Make the Cruelest Month,
Campfire Tales, Strangeland, and Outside Providence. Smart’s father was
a salesman while here mother worked at the Jean Paul Getty museum. She
was also a speaker for Heal the Bay, an organization that is focused on
cleaning the ocean.
Smart is currently engaged to Branden Williams, her boyfriend of 12
years. The actress shares a birthday with Kiera Knightley, Steve Tyler,
and Diana Ross. Fun facts about Smart include her dislike for horror
movies, her being a vegetarian, and her being a leftie.
